William and Marie: Managers and owners of Bluebird Farm, a small family farm, in a forested cove of Silver Creek. We are passionate about growing healthy, sustainable food. Marie grew up on the property, and William and Marie returned to Morganton in 2009 to farm full time on Marie's family farm and a family friend's farm. Marie's favorite farm duty: Making sure the pigs are happy enough to jump with joy in the pastures. William' favorite farm duty: Thinking about new methods of enhancing vigorous soil life We work hard throughout the year to bring delicious wholesome local food to the Catawba foodshed.
